Biography of Alexander King
Alexander King has appeared as defence counsel in many high-profile criminal cases in Hong Kong. A dedicated trial advocate, Alexander was admitted to the Middle Temple in London as a Barrister in 1978 and commenced private practice in Hong Kong in 1986.
His first-hand knowledge of major white collar crime and corruption cases at both trial and appellate level gives him unique insight into the operations of law enforcement agencies and the courts, both in Hong Kong and internationally.
Appointed Senior Counsel in 2005, Alexander is currently chairing a Law Reform Commission sub-committee. He is a dedicated proponent of advocacy training and a guest speaker at Hong Kong University.
Alexander received his Master of Laws degree from Victoria University, New Zealand and has made Hong Kong his home since 1986.
